Alright, here a sneak peak into the F1 Engine Exhaust… damn its burning red.

    Fox, most likey not, any F1 has to be moving to force air over vital parts ie brakes,raditors. Vents & chimmneys all over the bodywork are just to vent & cool. When an F1 pits average of 6 to 9 second stops, fuel & tyres, any longer & the heat builds to crutical level.

    NASCAR is not even in the same book let alone the same page as F1.F1 is the absolute pinnacle of automotive technology whilst the americans continue with their big, heavy, clumsy, under developed cars that can only race ovals.You really cant help but laugh at them can u.

    Yeah, F1 is so advanced, tech wize, that the dummies don’t wear hearing protection. They can’t even afford earplugs!NASCAR is so in the past they use earplugs.

    Check out a top fuel or funny car drag race. The sound is so loud you clothes vibrate against your body.

    that was awesome im surprised the engine didnt blow. that’s engineering at it max all that power in one car that weighs less than a mini its incredible

    Those F1 engines rev about 21-22,000 RPM, that is amazing.

    The FIA have capped them to 19,000rpm for 07 but its still an amazing technical achievement to reach that. An F1 engine actually idles at 8,000rpm IDLES!!!!!!!Absolutely fantastic, F1 is my passion in life.

    …there is a huge difference! first of all F1s are 2 strokes and are barely 3.0L… while funny cars are 4 strokes,they have some massive engine size and nitrous ;)

    That is truely awesome sound. Its like a giant cat scraming. But id say that aint the best engine noise in the world. An american muscle car with a hhhuge 8-cylinder engine makes that nasty growl, and gives a nice roar when u speed the machine. 8-cylinder engine looks good, and it isnt ‘high-performance-ûber-high-tech-kick-ass’ engine like F1 engine. But F1 engine is very unique; you dont have F1 car in every garage.

    oh my Word! That is a beautiful sound to me. One of my clients frequents F1 events and I distinctly rememebr him once saying “Those things are a hell of a lot louder than you realize.”…I can believe it. Anybody heard a Top Fuel Dragster or Funny Car up close? THAT is a roar like no other!

    varies from track to track…. but typically around 200 mph… and that is with very small, normally aspirated engines and lots of downforce… they are hands down the most sophisticated race cars on the planet in any genre

    that’s a spyker and the scapes burn becouse the engine is rolling over 17.000 rev. and the fire is becouse gas doesn’t burn complete inside cylinders, it happens when lose the throtle, sorry english is not my natal language.

    thts just a normal warm up for a F1 motor. But they did have WAY too much fuel going into it….the flames should only come out when off the gas

    Judging by the orange and black clothing this was the Arrows F1 team. I think thats an Asiatech V10. Or it could be a Cosworth V10. Its one of the two. Either way that is bloody awesome! Incredible sound. Wayyyyyyy better than the puny 2.4 V8s now used. Cool video. I love F1.

    if you did it with any normal plain car, you would run out of gas before you heated the material in the exhaust to even get that hot.

    Im sorry but this looks like Arrows. Besides the engine sounds like a V10. Spyker entered Formula 1 last year(2007)and they had Ferrari V8s. This sounds too high pitched to be a V8.
